Because of our central gas system, wintercamping will be a true satisfaction.

In winter the campsite is an ideal starting point for hiking on snow free hikingtracks and is also ideal

because of the direct connection to the cross country skiing paradise "Steirische Salzkammergut" which

belongs to the biggest of Europe. This wide, fog free area around Bad Mitterndorf offers the cross country  

skier about 95 kilometer of tracks. 

For the downhill ski and snowboard fans lies the skiing

area "Tauplitzalm" nearby. You will get to this snow sure

family skiing area from Bad Mitterndorf by skibus in

about 20 minutes.

It offers 40 kilometer of downhill skiing slopes.

But also for the non-skiers Bad Mitterndorf offers al lot of possibilittes in

winter. A romantic horse sleigh ride to, for example, one of the cosy log

cabin restaurants (Hütte) in the area, a snowshoe hiking tour, hiking, ice

skating. Everything is possible and all of this in a beautiful snowwhite

surrounding.
